Job summary

Ingram Micro Inc. in the United States seeks an assembler to build electronic or electro-mechanical assemblies per product specifications.

You will follow established procedures and apply your knowledge of wiring, soldering, component installation, and cable harnessing to assemble units and ensure conformance to tolerances. You may disassemble and correct malfunctions, assemble test kits or packing/labeling tasks.

Qualifications

• Established and productive individual contributor.
• Works under moderate supervision; routine problems with occasional deviations.
• Provides technical or administrative support at an intermediate level.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; 3 years general experience or 2 years functional experience.

Responsibilities

• Assembles electronic or electro-mechanical assemblies per specifications.
• Follows procedures and applies knowledge of wiring, soldering, component installation, and cable harnessing.
• Ensures conformance to specified tolerances; may disassemble and correct malfunctions.
• May assemble test kits or other packing/labeling tasks.
