Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer, Electronics Architect to lead the end-to-end electronics architecture across dispensers, controllers, pedestals, and edge devices. You will own system diagrams, interface definitions, and technology roadmaps, shaping global product variation.

Collaborate with firmware and software teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor engineering teams while driving scalable, reliable and cost-efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of electronics, embedded systems, or hardware architecture experience.
• Strong knowledge of SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, USB; wireless.
• Experience developing architecture diagrams and system-level documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with Firmware and Software teams and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain end-to-end electronics architecture across all product platforms.
• Develop architecture diagrams, interface maps, and compatibility matrices.
• Lead cross-functional alignment between Electronics, Firmware, and Software teams.
• Ensure architectural compliance with safety, regulatory, EMC, and PCI requirements.
• Mentor engineering teams and lead system design reviews.
