Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking engineers to contribute to system-level architecture for airborne EW sensor systems. You will work across HW, SW, FW, I&T and Program Management, performing modeling, analysis, and test planning in a dynamic defense environment.

The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience (or equivalent), and an active Secret clearance. Travel up to 10% may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; 5 years exp with a degree, or 3 years with a master’s, or 1 year with PhD.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active/current U.S. Government Secret Clearance required or ability to obtain.
• Experience in systems engineering, integration and test for aerospace/defense systems.
• Experience with airborne sensors, RF systems, or Electronic Warfare concepts.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary IPTs with HW, SW, FW, I&T, and Program Management.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to system-level architecture, design, and requirements for airborne EW sensor systems.
• Support development, analysis, and maintenance of system and subsystem requirements and interfaces.
• Plan and execute integration and test activities for EW systems in lab and field environments.
• Collaborate with HW, SW, FW, I&T, and Program Management to maintain technical alignment.
• Perform system-level analysis, modeling, and performance trades to inform design decisions.
• Develop and review test plans, procedures, and reports; support configuration control and traceability.
• Provide troubleshooting and root-cause analysis during integration and test, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
