Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electronic Technician II (FSAT) to support operations at Tyndall AFB, FL. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting FSAT systems, conducting inspections, and providing technical guidance to peers.

Responsibilities include using advanced test equipment, performing depot repairs, and recording maintenance data. A strong background in fighter avionics and related testing is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of military fighter experience.
• Air Force Fighter Avionics or Electrician technical school completion.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, repair, maintain, and service FSAT systems and components.
• Utilize test equipment to certify operation and troubleshoot systems (ECS, ASTS, PFLT, etc).
• Maintain and purge LOX converters, servicing carts, CO2 bottles, and GOX trailers.
• Perform E&E inspections and maintenance on nitrogen/GOX trailers.
• Provide technical guidance and training to equal or lower-level personnel.
• Enter maintenance actions in AF aircraft records and generate required forms.
