Job summary

Amentum seeks an Electronic Technician II (FSAT) to support operations at Tyndall AFB, FL. The role conducts maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of FSAT systems, aircraft subsystems, and associated equipment, ensuring readiness for missions.

Responsibilities include using flight-line test equipment, performing PMTs and depot repair support, maintaining records, and providing guidance to junior technicians. A security investigation is required for access to classified information.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4 years of military fighter experience.
• Air Force Fighter Avionics or Electrician technical school completion.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain FSAT systems and components.
• Use test equipment to certify operation and troubleshoot systems such as ECS, ASTS, PFLT.
• Perform PMTs and support operational requirements.
• Maintain maintenance records and AFTO forms.
• Assist higher level personnel in depot repairs and documentation updates.
