Job summary

i2G Systems is seeking a Security Project Manager to lead a team of technicians and subcontractors installing ACS, IDS, CCTV and other low‑voltage systems for clients in Northern Virginia. You will coordinate across engineering, sales and technical staff, take ownership of assigned projects, and ensure clear communication with customers to meet stakeholder expectations throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Project Management experience in an electronic security system environment.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team.
• Experience overseeing subcontractors and ensuring work meets expectations.
• Strong communication with customers and subcontractors.
• Ability to read security system drawings and related plans.
• Experience coordinating integration engineers for access control, intrusion and CCTV systems.
• Proven proposal development experience.
• Proficient with MS Project, SimPro or Smartsheets and MS Office.
• Background in Lenel, Axis, Verint, or Software House is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of security technicians and subcontractors on multiple projects.
• Coordinate with local engineering, sales and technical staff.
• Own project communications to meet stakeholder expectations.
• Provide status updates, scheduling, risk mitigation and change management.
• Maintain project equipment inventory and red-line drawings.
• Assist with creating proposals as needed.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and report project status.
