Job summary

i2G Systems is seeking a Security Project Manager to lead a team of security technicians and subcontractors installing ACS, IDS, CCTV, intercom, and other low voltage systems for clients in Northern Virginia.

The PM will coordinate multiple projects with input from engineering, sales, and technical staff, taking ownership of project outcomes and ensuring stakeholder expectations are met throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Previous project management in electronic security systems field.
• Experience overseeing subcontractors and ensuring work is done as expected by stakeholders.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proficient with scheduling software such as MS Project, SimPro, or Smartsheets.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• 5+ years previous experience with electronic security systems.
• Prefer direct Lenel, Axis, Software House, Verint trainings but not required.
• Training and Certifications in above product lines and PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project management experience in an electronic security system environment.
• Lead and mentor a team of technicians and subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure work is done as expected by i2G and stakeholders.
• Maintain strong communication with customers and team.
• Read and understand security drawings and related electrical/civil drawings.
• Manage integration engineers for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems.
• Maintain project equipment inventory and red-line drawings.
• Assist with creating proposals as needed.
