Position Summary

The Security Project Manager will lead a team of security technicians and subcontractors to install and integrate low voltage systems such as ACS, IDS, CCTV, and intercom across Northern Virginia. The PM will coordinate multiple concurrent projects, manage schedules, risks, resources, and maintain clear communication among stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Project management experience in an electronic security system environment
• Lead and mentor a team of senior/lead techs, junior techs, and subcontractors
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure work meets i2G standards and stakeholder expectations
• Strong communication skills with team members, customers, and subcontractors
• Read and understand security system drawings, and familiarity with electrical and civil drawing packages
• Manage integration engineers programming systems such as access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV
• Maintain project equipment inventory, red‑line drawings, and quality documentation
• Assist with creating proposals as needed

Qualifications

• Previous project management experience in electronic security systems
• Working knowledge of Lenel, Verint, Axis, Commend, Fire systems, and/or DMP is a plus
• Must pass background check
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficient with scheduling software such as MS Project, SimPro, or Smartsheets
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• 5+ years previous experience with electronic security systems
• Direct experience with Lenel, Axis or equivalent highly desired, PMP certification preferred
• Relevant training and certifications in product lines highly desired
