Job summary

i2G Systems is seeking a Lead Technician to focus on site management and installation of security solutions for new and existing clients. You will work with internal teams, external teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project success and timely updates.

A successful Site Lead can work with minimal supervision, document work, train replacements, and progress into Project Management. Lenel and Genetec knowledge preferred; 5–7 years in physical/electronic security is valued.

Qualifications

• General access control knowledge; Lenel and Genetec preferred.
• Understanding of electronic security systems and the onsite labor for installation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Creative and resourceful in solving uncommon applications.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organization, time management and attention to detail.
• Proficient verbal and written communications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer focus and commitment to client satisfaction.
• Physical/Electronic Security Experience 5-7 Years.

Responsibilities

• Follow and track project scheduling.
• Direct subcontractor and internal resource communications.
• Manage and coordinate multiple technicians and subcontractors.
• Read and understand specifications, drawings and controlling documents; maintain documentation.
• Perform installation and training on implemented control systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain control systems for customers.
• Coordinate project activities with internal and external parties.
• Document and implement required project changes.
• Complete the final Test and Acceptance of security systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
