Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a Lead ESS Installation Technician to perform diverse installation duties on technology projects and lead other technicians at the site.

This role requires interpreting drawings, coordinating with project management, and ensuring timely device installation, testing and troubleshooting across complex systems such as access control and CCTV in commercial environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience installing access control and video surveillance in large-scale commercial environments.
• Experience supervising the work of others and providing helpful feedback.
• Lenel certification preferred.
• Ability to understand access control/CCTV systems, install related devices, and troubleshoot.
• Administrative capabilities with Teams, Outlook, OneNote, BlueBeam, Adobe Reader.
• Knowledge of project drawings, BOMs, SRDs, UILs, JHAs, THAs, RHAs, RFIs, and Redlines.
• Must maintain schedules and follow quality control standards (DIV28).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the work of ESS Installation Technicians on a project site while performing as an Installation Technician.
• Know and learn the BOM and material requirements for each job.
• Maintain job schedules and timelines; communicate delays to the site supervisor ASAP.
• Own workload and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Communicate daily with the Site Supervisor; report issues and equipment shortages promptly.
• Assist installation technicians with questions or concerns during device/head end work.
