Aviation & Missile Solutions, LLC. (AMS) is seeking a talented Electromechanical Technician to join our diverse team in Huntsville, AL, to create unique solutions for complex problems in air and missile defense technology.

The Senior-Level Electromechanical Technician will install, maintain, and repair complex systems combining mechanical and electrical components, fabricating, testing, and adjusting precision equipment per blueprints and specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly, prototyping, and production manufacturing.
• Soldering experience on electronic assemblies and PCBs (through-hole and SMT).
• Ability to read schematics/blueprints and work orders to repair or modify assemblies.
• Experience building simple cable assemblies.
• Experience with IPC standards for soldering and rework.
• Minimum 3 years of PCBA/SMD experience.
• Knowledge of through-hole components and polarity, flux chemistry, solder alloy, and J-STD-001 requirements.

• Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical systems.
• Fabricate, test, assess, and adjust precision equipment per blueprints.
• Work with hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Adhere to safety protocols and SOPs.
