Job summary

Radiance Technologies seeks a Senior Electromechanical Technician to support the Scientific and Technical Intelligence Group in Huntsville, AL. The role involves assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electronic systems per specs and DoD regulations.

Ideal candidates will have 20+ years in electronics tech, TS clearance with SCI access, and strong skills in soldering, PCB work, and control panels.

Qualifications

US Citizenship required.
20+ years hands-on electronics technician experience.
At least 3 years with military weapon disassembly, integration, repair, and assembly.
Proficiency in electronic assembly, soldering, crimping, splicing, cable fabrication, PCB population and rework, and control panel building.
Ability to use hand and power tools, lift heavy objects, and work with chemicals.
Ability to stand/sit for long periods and operate mills/lathe.
Ability to adapt to changing customer requirements and meet deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assemble, integrate, and test mechanical and electrical components per drawings and procedures.
Fabricate, assemble, install, repair, test, and troubleshoot electrical modules and wire harnesses.
Operate shop machinery, scales, calipers, and micrometers.
Use electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, multimeters).
Follow ESD practices and inspect final products.
Maintain detailed records of troubleshooting and assembly procedures.
Generate delivery-quality documentation of best practices.
Work in both lab and field environments across multiple projects.
