Job summary

TE Connectivity’s Power Connector Engineering team develops high-current connector interfaces for data centers, servers, and power systems. The Staff Engineer leads complex development from customer need through design, validation, and release, collaborating with global teams and mentoring others.

The role requires a strong background in electromechanical design, 3D CAD, GD&T, tolerance analysis, validation, and manufacturing considerations. A senior engineer with proven leadership is ideal.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing and releasing complex electromechanical products.
• Strong capability in connector or related high-current product design and validation.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate engineering positions.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-current power connector development from feasibility through production release.
• Translate customer needs into testable engineering requirements.
• Drive design reviews, DFMEAs, tolerance analysis, and verification planning.
• Lead root-cause analysis for design, qualification, manufacturing, and customer issues.
• Mentor engineers and build reusable platforms and standards.
