Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician III for our manufacturing facility. You will serve as a senior technical resource responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and improving complex equipment and automated production systems.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical failures, support PLC-controlled equipment, mentor technicians, and drive uptime and continuous improvement in collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced diagnostics for mechanical, electrical, and automated manufacturing systems.
• Root cause failure analysis and corrective actions.
• Interface with PLCs, controls, and automation systems for diagnostic purposes.
• Mentor and develop Maintenance I and II technicians.
• Plan and execute complex maintenance and repair activities.
• Drive reductions in unplanned downtime.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex and chronic equipment failures.
• Interface with PLCs, automation, and control systems (non-programming).
• Conduct root cause failure analyses and corrective actions.
• Improve preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Mentor and develop Maintenance I and II technicians.
• Drive reductions in unplanned downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering on equipment improvements.
• Promote maintenance best practices and standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
