Jobot is seeking a Senior Electromechanical Assembler in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves assembling, testing, and troubleshooting complex electromechanical assemblies, reading blueprints, performing soldering per J-STD-001 Class III, and ensuring quality through inspections.

You will work with design, production and quality teams in a fast-paced aerospace environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of electromechanical assembly experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and high attention

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of electromechanical assembly experience.
• J-STD-001 Class III solder certification desired or obtainable within 90 days.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting complex blueprints, schematics and assembly instructions.
• Extensive experience with soldering, wiring and integrating complex electronic components.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot complex electromechanical assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics and assembly instructions.
• Perform soldering and desoldering per J-STD-001 Class III standards.
• Conduct quality inspections to verify engineering specifications.
• Collaborate with design, production and quality assurance teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety guidelines.
