Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler to join the engineering team in Carson, CA. The role focuses on assembling, testing, and troubleshooting complex electromechanical assemblies for the Aerospace industry.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 6am–2:30pm, on-site in Carson, with responsibilities spanning interpretation of blueprints, soldering tasks to J-STD-001 Class III standards, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electromechanical assembly.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics and assembly instructions.
• Experience with soldering, wiring and integrating complex electronic components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test and troubleshoot electromechanical assemblies.
• Read blueprints and schematics to guide assembly.
• Perform soldering/desoldering per J-STD-001 Class III standards.
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure engineering specs are met.
• Collaborate with design, production and QA teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Assembler to join our dynamic engineering team in the Aerospace industry.

Monday-Friday

6am-230pm

Responsibilities:

• Assembling, testing, and troubleshooting a variety of complex electromechanical assemblies.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Performing high-quality soldering and desoldering tasks in accordance with J-STD-001 Class III standards.
• Conducting quality inspections on products and parts to ensure they meet all engineering specifications.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality assurance.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electromechanical assembly.
• J-STD-001 Class III Solder Certification desired or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Extensive experience with soldering, wiring, and integrating complex electronic components.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
