Job summary

Synopsys is seeking a technically adept engineer to provide support for Ansys AEDT, HFSS, and SIwave simulations, helping customers resolve complex issues in signal and power integrity. The role involves direct customer interaction, workflow optimization, and contributing to technical documentation.

You will work with field teams to inform product quality and usability, participate in field testing, and help accelerate adoption of simulation solutions across electronics and electromagnetics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Ansys HFSS, SIwave, or comparable CAE/CAD/EDA tools.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, crosstalk, impedance or eye-diagram analysis.
• Understanding of circuit-level and timing analysis for SI applications.
• Experience with package/PCB/connector design workflows.
• Familiarity with microwave and antenna fundamentals (S-parameters, wave propagation).
• US work authorization; citizenship preferred where required by contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers using Ansys AEDT, HFSS, HFSS 3D Layout, SIwave, Q3D, and AEDT Circuit for electronics and electromagnetics simulation.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex simulation issues involving signal integrity, power integrity, crosstalk, impedance, and eye-diagram analysis.
• Collaborate with customers and channel partners to match workflows with design objectives.
• Document product improvements, submit defect reports, verify fixes, and participate in field testing of new releases.
• Evaluate new software releases using real customer use cases to support release readiness.
• Contribute to internal knowledge bases and enablement content for the support team and customer base.
• Share feedback with product development and field teams to inform product quality and usability.
