Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. seeks a customer-facing engineer specializing in electromagnetics and signal integrity to support Ansys AEDT, HFSS, and SIwave users. You will troubleshoot complex simulations, reproduce issues, and guide engineers toward effective solutions.

You will work with HFSS, SIwave, and related tools, helping customers optimize designs and prepare defect reports while feeding insights back to product teams. This role emphasizes collaboration and technical depth.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field; Masters preferred.
• Hands-on with Ansys HFSS, SIwave, or comparable CAE/CAD/EDA tools.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, crosstalk, impedance, eye-diagram analysis.
• Understanding circuit-level timing analysis and relevant compliance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers using Ansys AEDT, HFSS, HFSS 3D Layout, SIwave, Q3D, and AEDT Circuit.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex simulation issues involving SI, PI, crosstalk, impedance, and eye-diagram analysis.
• Collaborate with customers and channel partners to understand requirements and recommend workflows.
• Document product improvement opportunities, submit defect reports, and verify fixes.
• Evaluate new software releases with real customer use cases to support readiness.
• Contribute to internal knowledge bases and enablement content.
• Share customer feedback with product development and field teams to inform improvements.
