Job summary
Starkey, based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, seeks an experienced electroacoustic engineer to design, prototype, verify and document hardware for hearing devices, including PCBAs and related components. You will collaborate across acoustics, electronics and signal integrity to deliver designs from concept to production while leading design and problem-solving efforts with the EE teams.

Qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Acoustic Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years in design, testing, and transfer in product development (BS)
- 5+ years with MS or 2+ years with PhD
- Experience in Acoustic equalizer/stability design, transducer selection, and IEC/ANSI standards
Responsibilities
- Plan and create novel designs for integrating new platforms/transducers
- Run simulation and rapid prototype evaluation for risk reduction
- Document component selection and design verification
- Lead design transfer and production readiness activities
- Develop and maintain electroacoustic design verification plans and records
- Collaborate with EE teams on problem solving and knowledge sharing
