Job summary

Monarch Quantum seeks a Multi‑Disciplinary Engineer 4 (Electro‑Optics‑Lasers) to build core hardware capabilities from the ground up in a fast‑moving startup. You will work across multiple disciplines, delivering hands‑on solutions and solving challenging problems with exceptional depth in at least one field.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience and strong laser safety in high‑power environments, plus hands‑on capability to prototype, test, and validate

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required and 8+ years in startup or tech settings.
• Hands-on with high‑power lasers, beam modulation, and precision hardware.
• Ability to analyze, fabricate and test designs via real‑world experiments.
• Strong laser safety experience preferred.
