Job summary

nLIGHT Defense Systems, Inc. seeks an Electro-Optical Engineer with 8+ years of EO experience to lead design, development, integration, and testing of HEL weapon system components. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and contribute to data analysis and system integration.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and the ability to obtain U.S. DoD clearance; preference for candidates with an existing clearance. Onsite work in Longmont, CO is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electro-optical experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science or related field
• Ability to obtain U.S. DoD clearance; existing clearance preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, development, integration and test for HEL weapon system or HEL beam control system
• Hardware integration and test, data processing, and test documentation
• Develop test setups to evaluate performance parameters
• Coordinate complex integration activities and support field tests
