Job summary

Otis seeks a Senior Electro-Mechanical Test Technician to join the Quality Assurance Center in Bristol, CT. The role focuses on assembling, testing, and validating electrical and electromechanical systems, reading schematics, and supporting cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 7–10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate degree with 4–6 years.
• Electronics degree or related technical training preferred.
• Read schematics and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Experience using electrical test equipment.
• Fabricate parts and test fixtures with hand/power tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• English/Spanish bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and test electrical and electromechanical components and systems.
• Perform bench-top electrical and mechanical qualification testing for validation.
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to support testing and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits and components at entry level.
• Support test equipment and coordinate with facility personnel to meet needs.
• Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing to support projects and testing.
