Job summary

Staff Perm in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Manufacturing Test Technician to conduct electronic, mechanical, and functional testing per SOPs and engineering docs. You will support multiple product lines including unmanned systems and radiation detection, ensuring products meet strict quality standards.

Under general supervision, you will perform testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and in-process/final inspections while supporting engineering with prototype testing and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience testing mechanical parts and electronic components.
• Ability to document production and QA activities.
• Ability to inspect subassemblies and final products.
• Commitment to quality and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of mechanical parts, assemblies, and electronic components per work instructions and specifications.
• Troubleshoot electronic and electro-mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform rework and corrective actions to maintain product quality.
• Complete production, quality, and test documentation for traceability and compliance.
• Perform in-process and final inspections of subassemblies and finished products.
• Support Engineering with prototype build, testing, and evaluation of new products.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and promote a professional environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
