Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to join the CHS global mechanical engineering team in San Diego. You will design electro-mechanical enclosures and test platforms, perform thermal simulations, support sourcing, and ensure DFMA across multi-disciplinary teams.

You will create 3D CAD models, assemblies and detailed drawings, coordinate prototyping and production components, and work with vendors to meet build schedules. Strong CAD and analysis skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electro-mechanical test fixtures and development platforms.
• Create detailed mechanical designs, 3D CAD models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings.
• Interface with vendors to ensure manufacturability and timely builds.
• Develop thermal, structural and tolerance analyses of mechanical assemblies.
