Responsibilities

• Supervise, guide, and mentor junior electricians on-site.
• Study detailed project plans and diagrams to plan installation.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including wiring and lighting.
• Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct site safety inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and client expectations.
• Provide progress updates to Project Manager and clients.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• - Team Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise, guide, and mentor junior electricians on-site, providing leadership and ensuring that all electrical work meets high standards of quality and safety.
• - Project Planning & Execution: Study detailed project plans, diagrams, and blueprints to understand requirements and plan the installation of electrical systems.
• - System Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair a range of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, security systems, transformers, circuit breakers, and more, ensuring functionality and compliance with safety standards.
• - Troubleshooting & Repair: Respond to and resolve electrical issues quickly, diagnosing problems and providing effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
• - Safety Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• - Quality Assurance: Ensure that all electrical work is completed to specification, adhering to both regulatory codes and the company's high standards for quality and safety.
• - Communication with Clients & Supervisors: Provide regular updates on project progress and issues to the Project Manager and clients, ensuring transparent communication and efficient problem-solving.
• - Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project work, electrical testing, and inspections for future reference and compliance purposes.

Requirements

• - Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Electrician or in a similar supervisory role in the electrical field.
• - Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or apprenticeship completion in electrical systems preferred.
• - Knowledge & Skills: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards; proficient in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
• - Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, with a demonstrated ability to manage and guide junior electricians.
• - Problem-Solving: Excellent critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
• - Safety-Conscious: Thorough understanding of safety protocols and ability to maintain a safe work environment.
• - Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, team members, and supervisors.
• - Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks and work in varying weather conditions, on elevated platforms or confined spaces as needed.
