Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a draftsman/designer to support the Duane Arnold Energy Center. The role starts onsite, with potential for remote work initially and a hybrid arrangement with three days in the office and two remote days.

Responsibilities include drafting drawings, applying 3D design tools, and working with vendors to adjust designs. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of CAD experience and proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in drafting or high school diploma plus equivalent technical design experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating drawings to scale showing relation of proposed installations to existing facilities and exact specifications.
• Work with a multi-disciplined team to prepare design drawings from design input.
• Accompany experienced designers on walkdowns at client facilities to gather information for your design project.
• Explain drawings to vendors and contractors to incorporate design adjustments.
