Job summary

Hunt Electric Corporation seeks a highly skilled BIM Designer 3 to support our electrical VDC team in Minnesota. You will develop and coordinate 3D electrical models using Revit, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and sustain model integrity per BIM plans and project standards.

Responsibilities include design support, documentation, schedules, BOMs, and leading BIM coordination meetings on medium to large projects. Ability to train junior staff and optimize BIM workflows is valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in BIM coordination or electrical design within the construction industry.
• Experience on medium-to-large projects with complex electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks or Revizto, Bluebeam, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with BIM standards and model coordination platforms.
• Understanding of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and refine 3D models for electrical systems using Revit.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless model integration.
• Maintain models per BIM execution plans and project standards; resolve clashes with Navisworks/related tools.
• Prepare technical drawings and generate schedules and BOMs for procurement and construction.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings and support BIM workflows for medium to large projects.
• Help enforce BIM standards and best practices across projects.
• Identify opportunities to optimize modeling workflows and train junior designers.
