This role demands hands-on test expertise, leadership to scale the V&V discipline, and collaboration with design engineers to ensure robust product releases.

Qualifications

• Track record of taking electronics through formal qualification to production release.
• Experience with EV/DV or MIL-STD-810/461/DO-160 or equivalent programs.
• Authoring V&V documentation: test plans, procedures, reports, traceability matrices.
• Strong circuit design fundamentals; capable of reviewing schematics with engineers.
• Experience with EMC/EMI testing (pre‑compliance or formal).
• Python scripting for instrument control, data acquisition, and analysis.
• Clear documentation and crisp status reporting to stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement EV/DV verification workflows for production electronics.
• Plan and execute functional, thermal, vibration, environmental tests.
• Specify and build electrical test infrastructure and data acquisition.
• Establish verification gates and lead V&V sign-off in reviews.
• Lead root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions with design engineers.
• Provide mentorship to V&V engineers as the team grows.
