Job summary

Neros Inc. is seeking a Board-focused Hardware Design and Test Engineer in Torrance, CA to own the hardware architecture for manufacturing test solutions from prototype to high-volume production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, manufacturing test engineering, hardware validation, or product test development.
• Proven experience deploying PCBA manufacturing test strategies (ICT, bed-of-nails, flying probe, boundary scan, JTAG, functional test).
• Strong understanding of circuit design, signal integrity, power distribution, analog/digital interfaces, and failure analysis techniques.
• Experience driving Design for Testability (DFT) with test point strategy and manufacturing readiness reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop board-level manufacturing test hardware, including bed-of-nails fixtures and custom fixturing.
• Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to influence product designs for testability.
• Define board-level test strategies spanning ICT, functional test, programming, calibration, and metrology.
• Own hardware design for test equipment including fixture electronics and measurement systems.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to deploy and sustain test solutions.
• Analyze test coverage and yield trends to drive continuous improvements in test quality and throughput.
