Job summary

Rogers Electric is seeking a Senior Electrical Thermographer to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The role focuses on planning and performing energized infrared inspections of electrical equipment, interpreting complex thermal images, and developing rigorous thermography procedures and reporting formats.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level III Infrared Thermography Certification and have extensive experience with electrical and mechanical infrared inspections, NFPA 70E familiarity, and strong

Qualifications

• Current Level III Infrared Thermography Certification.
• Extensive experience conducting electrical and mechanical infrared inspections.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70E and OSHA requirements.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct infrared inspections of energized electrical equipment.
• Interpret complex thermal images and distinguish legitimate deficiencies.
• Review electrical loading, equipment ratings, temperatures, and operating conditions.
• Establish thermography procedures, inspection routes, acceptance criteria, and reporting formats.
• Assign severity and priority classifications to identified deficiencies.
• Prepare professional reports with thermal and visual images.
• Provide technical review and approval of reports.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate thermography personnel.
• Maintain infrared cameras and inspection records.
• Support predictive maintenance and reliability programs.
