Job summary

Rogers Electric is seeking a Senior Electrical Thermographer - Level III to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on planning and conducting energized infrared inspections, interpreting complex thermal images, and reporting findings to support reliability programs.

The ideal candidate holds a Level III infrared thermography certification with extensive field experience and strong skills in image analysis, reporting, and communication.

Qualifications

• Current Level III Infrared Thermography Certification.
• Extensive experience conducting electrical and mechanical infrared inspections.
• Advanced knowledge of heat transfer and thermal image analysis.
• Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70E and OSHA requirements.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct infrared inspections of energized electrical equipment.
• Interpret thermal images and distinguish legitimate deficiencies.
• Review electrical loading, equipment ratings, temperatures, and operating conditions.
• Establish thermography procedures, inspection routes, acceptance criteria, and reporting formats.
• Assign severity and priority classifications to identified deficiencies.
• Prepare professional reports with thermal and visual images.
• Provide technical review and approval of reports.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate thermography personnel.
• Maintain infrared cameras and inspection records.
• Support predictive maintenance and reliability programs.
