Job summary

Vertiv's Electrical Reliability Services (ERS) and High Voltage Maintenance (HVM) seek a Field Engineer - Electrical Testing (NETA III/IV) to lead testing across regional projects. Expect up to 75% travel and compensation up to $95/hour, with strong growth prospects through certifications and bonuses.

You’ll perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing up to 500 kV, mentor junior technicians, and ensure compliance with industry standards while supporting customers in critical

Qualifications

• NETA Level III or IV certification in good standing.
• 7+ years of hands-on high-/medium-voltage electrical testing.
• Strong knowledge of NETA MTS/ATS standards.
• Experience with test equipment (Doble, Megger, Omicron, Dranetz).
• Ability to read one-line and three-line diagrams and P&IDs.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing up to 500 kV.
• Conduct short-circuit, coordination, arc flash, and power quality studies.
• Test and calibrate protective relays (electromechanical to microprocessor).
• Prepare engineering reports with findings and recommendations.
• Mentor Level I/II technicians in the field.
• Lead technical efforts on multi-discipline project teams.
