Job summary

Vertiv's Electrical Reliability Services (ERS) and High Voltage Maintenance (HVM) seek a Field Engineer - Electrical Testing (NETA III/IV) to perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing on electrical power systems up to 500kV. This role requires up to 75% travel regionally and nationally, with a base compensation up to $95/hour based on certification and experience.

Qualifications

• NETA III or IV certification required and active.
• 7+ years of hands-on electrical testing in medium/high voltage.
• Proficiency with NETA MTS/ATS standards and protective relays.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance, commissioning, and maintenance testing up to 500kV.
• Conduct power system studies: short circuit, coordination, arc flash.
• Test and calibrate protective relays (electromechanical to microprocessor).
• Interpret results and write engineering reports with findings.
• Mentor Level I/II technicians and lead multi-discipline teams.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and safety standards.
