Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Technician to independently lead electrical testing on mid-sized projects and contribute to larger programs. You will develop testing procedures, supervise field teams, and ensure adherence to safety and NETA standards.

Role involves mentoring technicians, coordinating with program managers, and delivering clear test reports. Travel to facilities including industrial, data center, and utility environments is possible.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant electrical experience with a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid/active U.S. work authorization.
• NETA / NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NETA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA electrical safety standards.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Develop Electrical Testing Program for duty site and serve as SME over O&M programs.
• Manage or train operations staff to monitor, control, and update system control applications.
• Assist in SOP development and operator training for complex building control systems.
• Implement CMMS-based scheduling, dispatch, tracking and reporting for maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with Program Manager to optimize monitoring systems and energy goals.
• Provide troubleshooting and supervision during electrical testing activities.
• Perform acceptance and maintenance testing and protect relay, circuit breaker and switchgear testing.
• Maintain detailed test reports and compliance documentation.
