Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Technician 3 to independently manage small to mid-size projects, lead testing activities, and ensure compliance with NETA/IEEE standards. You will mentor junior technicians, coordinate with engineers and clients, and support commissioning of building electrical systems.

Requirements include 7+ years of electrical testing, strong relay/switchgear expertise, and familiarity with high-voltage safety. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• Valid/active U.S. Work Authorization.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical testing program for duty site and serve as SME for operations.
• Manage or train staff to monitor, control, and update system controls.
• Assist in SOPs and training for operators of complex building systems.
• Coordinate CMMS-based scheduling, dispatch, tracking, and reporting of maintenance activities.
• Oversee integration and reliability of SCADA, Delta Controls and Life Safety Systems.
• Coordinate with Program Manager to optimize monitoring performance and energy goals.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and provide oversight during testing.
• Supervise electrical testing activities and assist in scheduling.
• Contribute to ORM safety procedures and safety reporting.
• Conduct short circuit studies, arc flash analysis, and protective relay testing.
