Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Technician 3 to work on complex electrical testing programs and support building management system integrations.

The role demands senior-level expertise in testing, relay and power systems, with leadership responsibilities on projects or on-site teams. The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of electrical experience, strong safety practices, and the ability to train staff while collaborating with engineers and clients to ensure successful

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• Possess a valid US work authorization.
• NETA/NICET certification preferred or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience with SCADA/building management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop Electrical Testing Program for duty site as subject matter expert.
• Manage or train operations staff to monitor and control systems efficiently.
• Assist in development of SOPs and training for operators of complex BMS/MEP systems.
• Implement CMMS processes to schedule, dispatch, track and report maintenance activities.
• Oversee integration and reliability of building control systems including SCADA and Life Safety.
• Coordinate with Program Manager to optimize monitoring performance and meet goals.
• Provide supervision during electrical testing activities and ensure safety.
• Assist in project scheduling and ORM safety procedures; generate safety reports.
• Perform protection relay testing, calibration, and programming.
• Conduct circuit breaker and switchgear testing, and transformer tests.
• Maintain detailed test reports and documentation for compliance.
• Mentor junior technicians as needed.
