Job summary

Unofficial M.C. Dean is seeking an experienced electronics/field service technician to lead inspections, troubleshoot, and repair low to medium voltage equipment across field and shop settings. The role emphasizes safety, project support, and adherence to NEC/NFPA 70E standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of electronics/field service experience with a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with low/medium voltage equipment and electrical distribution systems.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E standards and related industry guidelines.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform operations, analysis, inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment in field and shop environments.
• Use electrical test equipment and understand complex distribution systems to ensure reliability and safety.
• Uphold safety standards and support a secure work environment for colleagues and clients.
• Coordinate facility operations and manage job documentation from order receipt through invoicing using company software.
• Monitor material costs and identify inefficiencies to minimize waste.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to customer issues after hours.
