Job summary

Senra Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Test Engineer to lead electrical test across our harness manufacturing. You will establish best practices, review test programs, and solve complex electrical problems, guiding the next generation of Test Specialists.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, and Program Management to ensure robust, repeatable verification processes for every harness. This role emphasizes mentorship and scalable testing systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in electrical test or related manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals (continuity, resistance, insulation, hipot, Ohm’s Law).
• Experience developing automated electrical test programs and fixtures for complex assemblies.
• Experience with automated wire harness test equipment (Cirris preferred).
• Experience performing hipot/dielectric withstanding testing in production.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical SME for electrical test across Senra Systems.
• Review and approve test programs and provide oversight.
• Establish and improve standards, templates, and best practices for test development and documentation.
• Lead investigations for complex electrical failures and first-build challenges.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to improve testability of new products.
• Drive initiatives to increase test throughput, robustness, and scalability.
• Own test programs for Cirris CH2 platform and related fixtures.
• Maintain revision control to align programs with engineering docs.
• Lead end-of-line and in-process electrical testing with repeatable workflows.
• Ensure compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and customer requirements.
• Mentor Test Specialists and onboard new team members.
• Coordinate calibration, fixtures inventory, and 5S in the test area.
