Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Austin, TX, for a 12-month contract. You will work with clients, sales, and engineering teams to tailor Client products for large-scale turnkey solutions and document requirements, specifications, and BOMs.

The role involves designing, prototyping, testing, deploying turnkey automated solutions, and coordinating with partners to ensure deployment readiness. Occasional travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hardware systems design or test engineering design experience.
• B.S. degree in Electrical/Computer/Mechatronics or related engineering field.
• Understanding of high-level programming languages (LabVIEW, TestStand, C/C++/C#).
• Familiar with schematics, BOMs, and instrumentation selection.
• Experience with CAD/PCB tools and data analysis (Cp, Cpk, GR&R).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers, sales, and engineering to define requirements.
• Write specifications, bills of materials, and statements of work.
• Define project plans, milestones, and deployment readiness.
• Design, prototype, test, and deploy turnkey automated solutions.
• Lead teams in test and measurement system design and resolution of issues.
• Travel domestically and abroad as needed (up to 25%).
