Job summary

Stockell Consulting, LLC. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead end-to-end turnkey automated test systems for aerospace, defense, and government programs. You’ll own engagements from customer requirements through deployment, coordinating with sales, engineering, and partner integrators to deliver systems.

Role emphasizes test-system experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, PXI or modular test hardware, and strong hardware/firmware integration skills. On-site in Austin with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics Engineering Technology.
• 7+ years in a hardware systems design or test engineering design role.
• Familiarity with CAD and PCB design tools.
• Working knowledge of LabVIEW, TestStand, or C/C++/C#.
• Statistical analysis of data (Cp, Cpk, GR&R).
• Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and sustain custom test solutions in collaboration with customers, sales, engineering, partner integrators, and suppliers.
• Gather requirements and write documents, statements of work, and bills of materials.
• Define and manage project plans, milestones, and design reviews to ensure readiness for deployment.
• Specify, design, prototype, test, and deploy turnkey automated test systems.
• Direct support personnel, own technical deliverables, guide decisions, and resolve field issues.
