Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Brookfield, Wisconsin seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer – Battery Electronics to lead embedded hardware and firmware design, testing and optimization for battery-powered systems.

You will work with cross-functional teams, drive milestones, and travel up to 10% domestically and internationally to support projects. Strong background in low-power embedded electronics and battery management is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE/CS or related field.
• 5+ years in embedded electronics design.
• Experience with power management in low-power embedded systems.
• Proficient in firmware creation for evaluations/investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, prototyping, testing of embedded electronics hardware and firmware.
• Collaborate with hardware/firmware/product/reliability teams.
• Develop work breakdown structures and manage milestones.
• Use lab equipment to debug and validate designs.
