Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct FAT on low- and medium-voltage switchgear assemblies prior to shipment.
• Develop test plans, procedures and checklists from drawings and specs.
• Perform electrical and functional testing including continuity and control circuits.
• Identify defects and work with teams to implement corrective actions.
• Review schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with UL, IBC, ANSI, IEEE and IEC standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) on low and medium-voltage switchgear assemblies prior to shipment.
• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and checklists based on engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Perform electrical and functional testing, including continuity, control circuit verification.
• Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects or non-conformances; work with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions.
• Review schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and layout drawings to verify accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as UL, IBC, ANSI, IEEE, IEC.
