Qualifications

• Experience with factory acceptance testing (FAT)
• Knowledge of electrical switchgear design and standards
• Ability to read schematics and BOMs
• Strong problem-solving and defect-tracking abilities
• Collaboration with engineering and production teams

Responsibilities

• Conduct FAT on low- and medium-voltage switchgear assemblies prior to shipment.
• Develop test plans, procedures and checklists from drawings and specs.
• Perform electrical and functional testing including continuity and control circuits.
• Identify defects and work with teams to implement corrective actions.
• Review schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with UL, IBC, ANSI, IEEE and IEC standards.
