Pacific Scientific Energetic Materials Company in Hollister, CA is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead automated electrical test system development for production lines. You will architect ATE hardware, data pipelines, and fault-detection algorithms, enabling traceable test coverage across multiple factories.

The role requires deep hands-on expertise with instrumentation, LabVIEW, Python, and C#, plus strong data analytics capabilities and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Proven track record in automated electrical test systems for production environments.
• Experience with instrumentation, signal measurement, and automated fault detection.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and qualification of automated electrical test systems for new manufacturing lines.
• Architect ATE systems with power supplies, oscilloscopes, DAQ, DMMs, SMUs, and interfaces (CAN, SPI, I2C, RS-485, Ethernet).
• Develop automated test sequences using LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, or C#.
• Own test data infrastructure: capture, databases, dashboards, and analytics.
• Lead FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ/PQ for automated test equipment and support customer validation packages.
• Define detailed electrical test specifications, pass/fail logic, calibration, and reporting.
• Mentor junior engineers and support DFT, testability, and diagnosability initiatives.
