Job summary

Automated Test Systems & Electronics Testing in Madison, AL is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to develop and implement electronic and production test solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 8+ years in test engineering or related area.
• Experience developing test plans, procedures, test programs, and automated testing solutions.
• Proficiency programming and operating test equipment platforms such as DIT-MCO, CableScan, Cirris, PXI.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, production, depot-level testing, and QA processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and test documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review customer requirements and specifications to develop compliant test strategies and solutions.
• Develop cost estimates and technical inputs for proposals and testing requirements.
• Create test plans, procedures, scripts, and test programs for validation, production, and depot testing.
• Design, develop, and integrate custom test equipment, fixtures, and automated test solutions.
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements and DFT enhancements.
• Document test activities, findings, corrective actions, and engineering recommendations.
• Ensure testing procedures comply with customer, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance testing effectiveness, product quality, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with vendors to improve testing processes and implement corrective actions.
• Lead technical testing efforts and provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Travel occasionally to support customer, supplier, or testing requirements.
