Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Electrical Technician II to join our operations & maintenance team in New Albany, Ohio. The role involves performing at an intermediate level in preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems, power distribution, and control and monitoring equipment.

You will read blueprints and schematics, support site engineering, and ensure compliance with NFPA70e and safety standards while delivering reliable electrical service to clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-4 years electrician experience in data center, industrial environment, hospital, or manufacturing facility.
• Ability to work in aerial lift/scissor lift up to 30 ft.
• Strong organizational/time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical systems and control circuits.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment from 24V to 480V AC.
• Read blueprints, schematics, ladder logic, and sequences of operations.
• Adhere to NFPA70e and electrical codes.
• Perform preventive maintenance using CMMS.
• Support site engineering and electrical expansion projects.
• Ensure safety and proper PPE.
