Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer II/III to join our defense technology team in Utah. The role focuses on developing complex military electronic systems, performing requirements analysis, modeling, and system integration across software, hardware, and multidisciplinary teams.

The engineer will guide projects from concept to deployment, ensure compliance with specifications and standards, and mentor junior engineers. A U.S.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Excellent written and oral communications.
• Customer interfacing and ability to build relationships.
• Use of MBSE principles to develop SysML Models and DOORS requirement management tool preferred.
• Ability to work in teams and independently with minimal direction.
• An existing U.S. Security Clearance is desired. The ability to obtain one is required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform systems engineering activities for complex electronic systems, from concept to deployment.
• Conduct system requirements analysis, definition, and allocation.
• Conduct system modeling, operations analysis, and requirements decomposition in support of system design.
• Perform system level trade analysis of different design options including estimated development and operational costs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop system architectures and design solutions.
• Oversee system integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans and monitor progress.
• Support the preparation of technical documentation including system specifications and test plans.
