Textron Systems in Wilmington, MA seeks an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer II/III to join a multidisciplinary team supporting complex military electronic systems. You will perform requirements analysis, system modeling, and design trade studies from concept through deployment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with software and hardware engineers, system integration, verification, and risk management while mentoring junior engineers and engaging with customers and regulators.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer interfacing and ability to build relationships.
• MBSE using SysML to develop models and manage requirements with DOORS preferred.
• Ability to work in teams and independently with minimal direction.
• U.S. Security Clearance desired or the ability to obtain one.

Responsabilidades

• Perform systems engineering activities for complex electronic systems from concept to deployment.
• Conduct requirements analysis, allocation, and translation of customer needs into technical specs.
• Model systems, analyze operations, and decompose requirements for design.
• Conduct trade analysis of design options including costs and performance.
• Collaborate with software/hardware engineers to optimize architecture and maintainability.
• Oversee integration, verification, and validation to meet performance objectives.
• Assess risks and implement mitigations to ensure safety, security, and interoperability.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and mentor the team.
• Work with project managers to plan, monitor progress, and meet milestones.
• Prepare technical docs, specs, test plans, and reports with accuracy.
• Engage with customers, suppliers, and regulators to ensure satisfaction.
