Job summary

Ajulia Executive Search is seeking a senior electrical engineer to design and analyze power systems for industrial environments in the United States. The role focuses on load calculations, conduit routing, and equipment selection to ensure reliable performance.

You will develop diagrams, schematics, and installation details while coordinating with drafting, manufacturing, quality, and operations to deliver fully integrated projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; PE, PMP, or advanced degrees preferred.
  • 6+ years of electrical engineering experience in modular, industrial, utility, telecom, data center, or similar power-intensive environments.
  • Strong expertise in power distribution systems, equipment specification, electrical codes, and support of manufacturing, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Proficient with electrical design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD, Revit, with exposure to PLC/BAS systems and communication cabling.
  • Experience with FAT, commissioning, UL-listed assemblies, modular equipment, and electrical system validation

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze electrical power systems, including load calculations, circuit sizing, voltage drop studies, conduit routing, and equipment selection for reliable system performance
  • Develop and review electrical engineering documentation such as one-line diagrams, panel schedules, schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation details
  • Engineer and integrate power and special systems, including switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, fire and gas detection, controls, ventilation, and communications infrastructure
  • Collaborate with drafting, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to produce accurate drawings, BOMs, design revisions, and fully integrated project solutions
  • Support manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities while ensuring compliance with NEC, NFPA, customer specifications, and internal standards
  • Provide technical leadership by leading design reviews, hazard and manufacturability assessments, root‑cause resolution, continuous improvement initiatives, and mentoring junior engineers

Job description
