Job description

• Lead our Electrical Department and provide technical guidance to our Electrical department.
• Assist in preparing analysis, design and documentation of building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting and fire alarm systems.
• Assist in preparing the schematic designs, construction documents and specifications in compliance with owner’s requirements and ensure governmental code compliance.
• Review design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates.
• Supervise construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, conduct field / site surveys and observations, attend coordination meetings.
• Collaborate and coordinate design with engineers, architects, designers, owners, product manufacturers, vendors and building contractors as required.
• Responsible for insuring accuracy and content of construction documents and coordination with other disciplines.
• Serve as project manager on projects, coordinating electrical scope and leading electrical staff.
• Maintain continuing professional education in discipline.
• Conduct site visits for owner’s facility and verification of services.
